Omega Leads worked with an automotive aftermarket company to re-design
a complex wire harness for one of its retail products. Omega Leads was able to
reduce the overall cost by over 20% while greatly improving product quality and
eye appeal.
- Customer sent original wire harness to Omega Leads for a design review.
- Back-and-forth dialog and collaboration with the customer led to many suggested improvements, addressing: reliability, longevity, abrasion resistance, gas and oil resistance, and eye appeal.
- Omega Leads sent the customer a first-article based on mutually agreed upon improvements.
